It's like a plague!!
Youngest and I removed red wood chips..and red dirt from old red wood chips.. Took them from 2 big flower beds.. They don't usually stay in the flower beds.. There are about 10 robins that come into my yard and kick the red chips all over the grass... Grrr...

So, the robins will have to take up weight lifting.. because now that the old paper and red wood chips are gone.. I'm installing new black paper and white rocks...
The robins will have to lift some serious weights to kick out the white rocks..!!

We took the 15 bags of red wood chips,etc.. out to the city landfill..
UGHhhh
That's an experience I don't ever want to repeat againe..
But the chips are gone gone gone now..

well.. except the ones in the front yard...!!
I'd love to chat with whoever visited this plague on me...

Time for a nice hot shower...

 many a different landfill..... used to go bear watching at one up in swan hills

Yes, but I've never buried any bodies there . . . never . . . get it? Never ever. Not even that Hoffa guy.

 I hate the landfill. The electronic section at the top isn't bad but I seem to get flat tires down the hill.
I don't care for wood chips or white rock.

 Where I live On the sun.The inhabitants take items of no longer use to the field of hills.Upon arrival we are pointed in the direction of the processing hanger.It's a huge concrete space 4 stories tall and about the size of a soccer pitch.We back in along side of about 15 other vehicles and dump what ever we're dumping on the floor of this place and a huge tractor pushes it around.
That's our cue to to get the heck out of there.It takes me about 10 minutes to unload a heaping pile from my little truck.That's 10 minutes under the 20 minute exposure time.Meaning I get out of there in time to not end up smelling like the place.
You did ask.

hmm... no bears around here.. just big scarey, noisey machines and sea gulls..

I think I'll just take the red chips to the farm next time, to dispose of.. much safer.. less stinky...

ackk... I double hate.. make that triple hate the landfill.. never going back...

OMG... and on top of that.. the couple ahead of me.. in their fancy truck.. threw away good chairs.. brand new shovels, and spades.. I felt like running up to them and saying.. hey wait... I'll take them.. but the machine was so close and so loud.. I had to forget about doing that...eww.. what a horrible place..
