Interesting....you know that many people are just wired, through both genetics and social conditioning, to be what we call shy. Cultural relativism plays in here, as Americans we are inclined to call anyone who is not 100% about getting a spot light on them shy. I would recommend taking a Meyers Briggs test ( many good ones available online) to figure out your personality type if you are really interested in figuring out more about yourself. Its fascinating, actually.
