Quite true, my friend. We are all human, therefore we all make mistakes, and usually deserve to be forgiven for them.  I can't fault him for wanting a tit pic from my favorite CPA.

Lawyers and preachers get more action than anyone who is not famous. They have no problems due to their status as "Holy men" and expert liars, lawyers have few uses for honesty as a group.

I'm a little late to the table to respond... but... for what it's worth: I am in a similar professional situation when it comes to working with clients. I'm privy to a lot of information that's not known by the general public and can be used against my clients. I have to be EXTREMELY careful to not even give the appearance of impropriety in all my dealings. I've even worked professionally with commercial cam girls and know where the line is drawn. Once you've crossed that line, your reputation is forever tarnished. All that being said... I don't know where you stand with the attorney in question... but... if you haven't gotten things done yet - get them done. Then cut all ties. There is no upside to continuing your working relationship with him. As for doing your own documents, given that you're divorced with child in tow --- go to a different attorney. Your professional needs, if my opinion, are limited to a simple will, power of attorney and a health care proxy. None of these, given your situation, are rocket science. Be aware and be careful it doesn't seem very professional for him to ask you to see some of your tit pics. Surely it makes you wonder what his ulterior motives may be.
