INVERSION TABLES--what the heck are they?
INVERSION TABLES--what the heck are they? You may have seen one of the information commercials on the flat tube about Inversion Tables.... An inversion table (see my picture below this post), is simply a machine that a person lays on and straps down his ankles. After the person is firmly strapped down, they can invert their bodies by using the weight of their arms to bring them to any position from level to completely inverted. Why would a person do this, you probably are asking about now?? Because it stretches your body and flushes blood and adrenal fluid against the flow that gravity and your upright position keeps you in day after day. Primarily the inverted position used two or three times a day, stretches your spine and relieves aches and pains that may bother you. The machine pictured below is mine, and I use it about twice daily to rejuvenate my energy level. {My young dog, Lou, hates the machine and tries to attack it when I'm hanging upside down...I think he believes it's hurting me. I've had to "wall" off the machine to keep him from it... ) by david stardust.. Sunday, May 10, 2015... |

Of course they just want us to die, the Soylent Green stockpile is getting very low. (Please do not let word of this leak to Texas.)

I suppose anyone with blood pressure problems wouldn't be advised to stand on their heads...the instructions on most of these inversion tables list a cut off age of 60 or 65 to go to full inversion, but of course at my age many people think I should just lay down and die...lol. I do know that the use of this table keeps my spine feeling very limber and "juicy". Thanks for your comment, JustSkin--hey another new picture!! If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

I have heard of them and also that persons with high blood pressure should be extra careful in their use. I also know that a good spine stretch feels wonderful. Have a great day David. Boy! I don't know Heart Collector.. I've learned my lesson many times over giving advice to other people. All I know is that I use it every day (I just got off it before coming inside to look at this blog), and it always makes me feel refreshed and energetic. I do the complete inversion just as if I was standing on my head, Of course at my age the directions regarding inversion boards say I shouldn't even be using it! I'd suggest you tried one out at a gym or a neighbor's place to see if it does anything for you, before buying one. If you do get one I hope it helps to stretch out those vertebrae that are beginning to fuse...Affectionately david
