Would you risk it?

Would you risk it?

I have seen and met all kinds of people on this website since I first joined back in 2006 (my first profile name was NightAngel956), but I have always steered clear of those who openly admitted to having an STD. I'd rather be safe than sorry, no offense to them but I'd rather find someone else and not take that risk.

So members, give me your opinion, would you sleep with someone you met on here who freely admits that they have an STD (curable and incurable)??

Feel free to leave your comments below as well. Thank you!

I don't even remotely take the chance. I don't like condoms. I am fairly picky about the person.

It's kind of like asking if I want to participate in
the development of the newer strain of STD
that'll have people running back to the altar!

Using more than all the road!

As much compassion and empathy that I have; I just cannot do that, in all honesty. I know they have wants and desires the same as all of us on here but cannot and will not knowingly risk it and above all risk taking something home to my wife. There are groups for those who are Positive and they can find others who meet;; taking all precautions. My heart goes out to them and I wish them all the happiness available to them. May science catch up and provide an actual cure for those struggling with an STD.

Very good question indeed, but has two avenues to follow.
I have been on this site long enough to see the patterns as well. If a person rambles on about obtaining STD's, well, let's just say that's why are health insurance premiums are high! Clearly, they are a high risk and not to engage.
However, I ran across a few that promote safe sex and describe STD's to educate those who do not believe they don't exist!

I would risk it ...... but then again I already have herpes. A gift from my wife when I was 23 y/o. Turn 49 next Tuesday. In 26 years, I have had unprotected sex with 3 different women while in a LTR with each.
Duration of each relationship ranged from 4 years to 7 years.
After parting ways, I paid for each to receive the HSV specific test.
All results were negative. I have never passed it on to any of my partners.

But I completely understand why most would not put themselves at risk. I was never given the choice, she caught it after we were married because she was a cheating whore.

I said no. Which made me pause and wonder about the ones who won't admit to having anything. I guess it's better to know and then make your decision. Talk about a contradiction. [3690608]
