Another World
Another World A poem I wrote awhile ago Would you tell someone you are Damaged goods if they said They wanted to care about you Tell them not to waste their time As the age difference is such a gap Almost 15-20 years It is not about people being together All the time that makes the difference Perhaps it’s about the distance That adds loneliness to the soul When a person looks at your face And sees a deep sadness and are Able to see right in They wish just to be able to Take their hand and run it down Your face across your lips and Through your hair as than one Another’s eyes lock and remain locked And for that time for that moment You are lost and have forgotten all In some other world ©deepinnersoul Always be yourself |

There is a certain amount of truth to what you say...

Why is it some people can open doors to our sole and seem to know us from the very first hello...Sometimes we use distance, age, and prior responsibilities to hide from those that can stir up those feelings....and sometimes nothing maters as the feelings are coming out no mater what... FUN

Well I do not claim that I really have this ability but some think I am just good at reading people. I am very in tune to a lot of things. Always be yourself

When a soul's anguish reaches it's peak it finds ways to reach out of its own accord... time and distance no longer matter. Whether the mind and body of such a person wills it or not, the soul reaches... grasping for a lifeline, pleading for release... This I have seen, this I have been through, and when the soul is no more, life grows dim, feelings fade, memories haunt... To be oneself against all odds, without compromise, and unflinching honesty... high is the price.. Well written poem up there, I like it... as for what just came out of me above... I cannot vouch for. Thanks for the inspiration.

Never be afraid to admit to yourself or others about who you are. Damaged goods, as you phrased it, aren't really damaged to those who look for quality or value. After all, is a piece of classic furniture worth less than a new piece? No its not. Be who you are and be honest about it, you will find those in search of something unique and valuable. DA
