Solo Valentine Pity = Rage
Solo Valentine Pity = Rage Another Valentine's Day has come and gone. Love was in the air and the lucky ones with lovers and spouses congratulations. As someone without someone special at this time of year, it can get rather annoying to be around other people. Since as soon as you say you are alone, they go oh and platitudes start abounding... SERIOUSLY!? Come on. I love love, but I really hate those people who act as if, since you don't have a significant other on this holiday you need to be pitied... Sometimes I love holidays and other times I hate them because of how other people treat them. |

Don't worry about being alone, there are a lot of things you can do, places to go, get a hobby. Who knows you might meet a terrific person on one of your outings. When others can't be bothered, are indifferent, condescending, etc you certainly have a choice how you respond, be positive, proactive and you'll enjoy your life more. Solo Valentine Pity Rage

I am not worried about being alone. I'm just venting some post holiday rage, because some people being idiots.

Being on a Saturday it was a bit easier this year. But I just chatted with those I care about and visited family. I've usually been the irritating hopeless romantic single person handing out valentine's to coworkers, friends, and random strangers because... because.

When 40% of those couples the man had to be threatened or coerced. 20% had a good time. 15% thought about the other person they're screwing on the side the whole time. 15% made up some lie about one thing or another and were with the one they're screwing on the side and never gave their wife/husband a single thought. 10% probably never said a word to each other. Using more than all the road!
