I've been that girl
I've been that girl that has sunbathed nude with a friend. I've been the one that has seen the ghost and unafraid spoken to it. I've been that girl that has cried over a song or a movie more than once. I've been the one laughing when nothing was really funny. I've been that girl that skips through the store not caring what anyone thinks. I've been that girl on the side of the dance to scared to let loose and show how clumsy I can be. I've been the one holding back an angry man. I've been the one that needed to be held back. I've been the wise one. I've been the fool. I've known just the right thing to say. I've been speechless. I've been totally together. I've fallen apart crazy. I have loved life. I have wanted momentarily to die. I've loved. I've hated. I've fought. I've given up. I have been a liar. I have told nothing but the truth. I have felt special. I have been thrown away. I've been the responsible one, taking care of everyone else. I've been that girl that has needed a hand up because I just couldn't take another step. I've been that girl that has gone skinny dipping with her friends. I've been the one telling someone what an asshole they're being and then 2 second later telling them how much they mean to me. I'm that girl that is inappropriate for fun. I'm the one with the dirty mind. I've been a tease. I've been pure. I've been that girl that snuck off to a private place to explore what lust would feel like shared. I've been the one too afraid to accept a kiss. I've been the girl that climbs trees and rocks and was "queen of the mountain" more than once. I've been the tomboy. I've been the fem chick. I've been the biker. I've been the goth. I've been the rocker. I've been the soccor mom. I've been the good wife. I've been tame. I've been wild. I have been and done so many things. And I am looking forward to doing so much more.

 My lawd! Do you ever sleep?

Commencing a marathon bath. Got everything handy even my lil' rubber ducky is in hand but I see now I misplaced the ashtray!?! Fuck it, I'll finish the coffee before moving on to cold drinks and use that cup....ahhhh...Calgone, take me away...

Sleep? It has become a foreign word to me. I think I remember the definition if not the practice of. Much like other words I've been thinking on of late... There is time enough for sleep in the grave, til then, I don't want to miss anything.
