My 3 year old seems to come up with some really odd things to say. While at the pool yesterday, she and the 1 year old were in their life jackets. I let them play in the very small kiddie pool that comes up to my knees for a bit and then took them into the big pool where I could stand and hold them floating next to me while the bigger ran around diving off the board and going down the slide. She got bored with just floating with mom and little sis, and decided that she wanted to go back to the little pool which was maybe 6 feet away. So I let her go to it while I watched and held the baby floating contentedly on her back. There were other there for her to play with and so she was contented for a little while, then walked over to where I was standing and gave me a very serious look. I asked her what's up and she says to me, "Mom, don't drown my sister."
Where that came from I have no idea, but it made me laugh. I assured her that it was not on my to do list and she went back to playing. What a little character she is!

That is funny. My girls knew what the babies were doing and were not shy about announcing to everyone that would listen that the baby needed to eat mom's boobs! Luckily I don't embarrass easily.
