The measure How many nights have we talked for hours? How many times did we laugh at the flowers? How many times have I tasted your kiss? How many times has it felt like this? How many hours have we spent in a car? How many miles have we traveled so far? How many laughs have we had out loud? How many times have we entertained a crowd? How many moments have I thought of you? How many times have you shown me you're true? How many words have we written to one another? How many times have you been my lover? How many times have you scratched my heart? How many nights have we spent apart? How many times have you forgiven me yet? How many chances do I really get? How many flaws have each of us seen? How many seconds have there been in between? How many pots of coffee can we share? How many ways we've seen that life is so unfair? How many times have you held back my tears? How many times have you calmed my fears? How many movies have we seen or slept through? How many times have you realized how much I love you? How many times have I brightened your day? How many times have you shown me the way? How many hours have we layed awake talking? How many miles did we end up walking? How many fish did you end up catching? How many times have I done some fetching? How many average moments have we just been there? How many times have you played with my hair? How many times have we picked on each other? How many times have you helped me be a mother? How many times have I seen you smile? How many times have I wanted you to stay for awhile? How many times have you shown me not all is as it seems? How many times have I bit off my screams? How many ways have you shown me the world as you see it? How many times have I been bit? How much can one hurt and still be alive? How many times have you shown me that I will survive? How many beverages have we shared together? How many times have I thought of forever? How do you measure the worth of what we've got? How could anyone ever when it is such a lot? How many times have you encouraged me on? How many hours since you've been gone? How many times have I counted down the time? How many times have I wished you were mine? How long do we have, how long do we dare? Just how many ways to show that we both care? How does one take a true and full measure? It doesn't really matter, each moment I treasure.  |

You're right...it doesn't really matter...it's all those little things we share with friends and family that make life what it is...and it's so very short and so very prescious... It is so hard to believe when everything seems upside down...but trust me...all of the setbacks...as well as all the good times...no matter how simple...shape who we are. You are learning who you are...you know what you want...and you know what you are worth...don't settle for anything less!........Slainte!
