All cooped up Brrrr! It's COLD out there! As you can see, the coop was finished, and it looks marvelous!  Pater Familias worked hard on it and even entered it in a contest on a chicken website. Think he'll win? It's been snowing and we're expecting a storm this weekend. Ugh! Snow! I'm dreaming of spring already.  I'm thinking about putting up the Christmas tree today, and I just might get to it if I don't get too distracted... Pater Familias got Drama Queen a new to her guitar for the big gimme day, and we found them a great set of guitar controllers for the Wii along with their Aerosmith version of the game. But that's as far as we've gotten x-mas shopping.  Wee one asked for Rocks. A girl from work said she might just have what I want for that, geodes!  That'd make her grin!The Queen of no pants though...she wants a puppy. It's not going to happen. She's been told as much.  She took it well, but I have no idea what to get for her. She has more toys than she knows what to do with even though I keep getting rid of more and more. The Rotten Bastard drops them off with junky toys almost every time he takes them anywhere. (Not that it's all that often, but still...) Not that I throw them out until they break, but really, it takes up space, they don't need them, and it'd be a lot more useful if he'd say pay a little support or ask what they actually need.  I know, complicated.  Anywho, it's far too cold to pirate a connection outside, and dial up being as painfully slow as it is, and hell, me being as busy as I am, I haven't written or read anything in forever.  The spirit is willing, but time is short. Perhaps after the New Year... Anywho, Merry Christmas everyone, Happy New Year, and or whatever everyone celebrates.  I hope everyone has a safe and happy time and stay warm!  |
