To cut or not to cut

I've had short hair now for about 3 years. And now I'm at a stand still trying to decide whether I want to grow it back out, or keep cutting it short.
I like the ease of shorter hair, but I kinda miss being able to braid it and do the pig tails thing too.
Gah, I'm no fashion queen! I have no idea what to do with myself most days.
Impromptu poll for the guys and the gals:

Short hair or long hair and why.

Honestly, I like whatever she likes...truth is when my partner is in a tizzy about her hair, shit just seems to be jacked for everybody. Talk about a bad hair day. It's infectious around me...So I like whatever is liked. If that makes sense. lol

PB...

I checked the pics from your collage-o-matic. I vote--long (if it's on your head--otherwise... bald works for me.)

Long. I love the way it looks, I love the multitude of ways it can be worn. Plus, judging by that pic of you in the collage above, you are just cute as a button with long hair!
