Gawd help us all...

This is a lil gem I found in my inbox last night:
do you work at a hospiyal, and what do you do??I also work at a hospitall

Really???

Hospital...twice...wrong...

Who's health is in this idiot's hands?

Does this make anyone feel good about a stay in the hospital?

hospitals are better than having no hospitals, imagine if you had to walk or be carried for miles and cross many rivers to get to one,now that would be a monkey on your back

For a while I was responsible for a computer program used in nursing homes and home services, and it seems to me that every dyslectic in the village must work in those professions. Being dyslectic must be sad, as the bookworm I am, I shudder at the thought.

PB...

He's just confused--he meant he "lives" in a hospiyalt [sic]; not that he works in one.

I am thinking dishwasher or janitor. But hell, he could be a doctor.

Oh, I agree, it just makes me nervous knowing some of the people entrusted with the health of others. I work in a nursing home, I see what's what.

We have to do our charting on PDA's. Some of the spelling and typos on the care plans and such make me shudder. My favorite I think is in the behaviors section "Takening of clothing in public". Takening and of...this was written by a RN. I so want to take over her computer and fix shit.

Hell, could be a candy striper or an information help desk dude, I dunno. Regardless, just careless and thoughtless.
