Fear
So many things I can't talk about,
So many words I don't say,
I don't have the courage to,
I fear you'll go away.

If I didn't care I'd blurt it out,
And damn the consequence.
But I do so I keep quiet,
I know that makes no sense.

I'm hurt, I'm damaged and broken,
It's really not your fault,
I've put myself in this place,
And put my thoughts inside a vault.

It's not your style to pry,
So I guess you'll never know,
Why it is that I run away so hard,
When the emotions start to grow.

My tears will fall in silence,
Wetting my cheeks and pillow,
I don't want you to see them,
Though I know sometimes you know.

I wish you could read my mind sometimes,
Because I wonder if things would mend,
But then again perhaps it would only serve,
To make my heartbeats end.

Yeah, I know, I know, 3 posts in one day, enough already!
I haven't written any poetry for awhile, but I felt a bit inspired. Anywho, last post of the day, promise!

Thanks! It's just my own inner demons from time to time. No drama other than the crap filling my head from time to time. It always makes me feel better to write it out and leave it behind.
