Brains!!!
Brains!!! Do you think ignorance really is bliss? Does what you don't know really not hurt you? Is knowledge sometimes a cruel thing? Let's have a discussion! |

Ignorance IS bliss, PB... All the crap I've let seep into my brain, over the years, has caused me immeasurable stress... and quite a few shriveled boners, too, I might add. In fact, I got so much extraneous data shoved into my head, I gotta do a sequential search of my data banks and find some first-in bits to offload (after having bounced the associated key-tags against my priority records... just to make sure I don't fuck up and dump all the data that I need... like how to chew my food, or like 2+2=4... or like how to fuck)... every freakin' time I wanna remember something new. If I didn't know the things I know, I'd be much happier. Well, maybe not like... happy, happier; but... at least I wouldn't be plagued... with all that priority searchin' and data-offloadin'--likely not quite as many shriveled boners, either. Did you know... it's almost impossible to forget shit you've learned (or that's been programmed in)? Although, I've been told--I ain't actually tried it, whilst I have considered it--that a quick smack between the eyes with a ball-pein hammer works wonders for makin' room in your skull.. for new things. Solar...

Sometimes, and sometimes it can get you killed. Ignorance is specific, you can be ignorant in certain area's but very knowledgable in others. Even if you narrow it down to just relationships, it would still vary as to whether or not it was bliss, or a disaster on hold. Sometimes what you don't know can hurt you, hell sometimes it hurts worse just because you didn't know. Knowledge can be cruel, but sometimes it can be cruel and still necessary. The best part is, you'll never know that you didn't want to know until you already know. So I guess that means bliss or not, it's all a moot point anyways.

We're two peas in a pod on this one. I'd always rather know and deal, than not know and find out some other way...cause I always find out.

I may have used this denial on occasion, but only for a bit.

Stupid should hurt! It'd be a cause for education!
