Just bitching I'm really hating my job right now. I don't want to talk about tattoos, look at tattoos, or even continue with my apprenticeship anymore. I'm so over it. I've come to the realization that everyone that works in this industry is either a drama queen, a rock star, a thief, a drug addict, or a straight up asshole. I dread going to work tomorrow for a 10hr shift because there is so much drama going on & I dont do drama. I'm too old & too sane for that shit. At my job everyone talks about everyone else behind their backs & plays best buddies to their faces. If youre not there youre the one who's being talked about. If you confront someone it turns into drama on the high seas. And Im talking about the men I work with, not the women. If we kicked all the guys out of the shop it would be awesome! Maybe thats what we need to do have an all female shop. Well I have bills to pay & to feed so I guess I have no choice but to go in tomorrow. 10 hrs of awkwardness yay! If you opened an all-female tattoo artist tattoo shop, you would make a mint. I bet you could even get them to start a new reality TV show about it. People would love it.

First, sorry to hear you're going through that. Sadly, it is the same in any work situation! I agree with hard22. A veritable mint. I'm back up there 2x a week teaching at Albertus Magnus. I WILL get in to see you when I get there early. What are your shifts? (you can send me an email). Might even have some suggestions! Until then, just keep your head down, do your job and make it clear from your demeanor that you're not interested in participating in gossip.
