and so it begins

Good morning,I hope this finds you with that secret smile on your face.

I am leaving for total left knee replacement surgery.

I took my last shower yesterday. No shaving, of any body part. No drinking or eating after midnight. No, this, No that.

I have done this 3 years ago right around this same time. It was my right hip then. I feel like I have experience.

This is one of those bumps in life that make us realize how short life is, and how vulnerable we all are.

Just a request, keep me in your thoughts please. Please say a lil prayer, if you do that. I will talk to you later today.

 The best of luck to you. I've had both my hips replaced; not at the same time, that would have been just too much, but 3 years apart. The best part was the time off from work. Second best part is no more pain

 Get well soon. Make sure you follow up with physical therapy and be on your feet again.
