 Could've just been dehydration. When you're dehydrated, a change from standing to sitting or bending over will cause the blood pressure to nosedive.

 Funny, that sounds like something I would do, and I didn't even have surgury, I am just a total klutz with poor balance. Hope it clears up soon.

Me too! I'm just glad it's a 'gravity-related' thing, otherwise I'd be paranoid about driving with the kids. I just need to keep my head above my heart and I'll be okay- bend at the knees, etc. .

I knew I liked you for some reason. Did you check your blood pressure, sometimes that can cause similar symptoms or if you were working in extreme heat.

Whatever it is, just take it easy as you can. Can you slip the kids a couple of Benadryl

I think this whole episode scared my kids into submission, lol. My blood pressure has always been normal and I drink tons of water, so I know those weren't the issues at hand. It's happened twice since that first occurrence, and each time I was bending over or laying a particular way in bed. I'm pretty sure my self-diagnosis is accurate, but I promised Hubby I'd go see a doctor if it happens again.

 Take it easy Sweets and take care of yourself. And while you're at it, go see a doctor if the dizziness continues. I know it's tempting to rely on our Schmoogle medical degrees, but remember, you're not REALLY a doctor, even if you play one on TV.

I know, I know. And I told Hubby that I'd see a doctor if it continues. I'm pretty sure it's just a weird side-effect of the surgery and the trauma to my noggin.

 Yep, its a bitch. I have Ménière's Disease, (seems to be somewhat hereditary in my case) have had it for nearly 25 yrs. It just pops up out of nowhere at the most inconvenient times.
