Trump has hinted that he will fix Obamacare by medical care for all. The only way to do that is single payer Medicare for all. With HMO at Medicare rates of $134 per month with a $10 co-pay, that can be a big win.

Will a GOP congress let Trump expand the US government role in healthcare? They may.

 they might. it would be cheaper. I wouldn't complain at a one party payor but I can't see Trump saying yes when big insurance companies will be lobbying him not to.........
