Relaxing weekend
Relaxing weekend Went to the cape this weekend and went totally off grid. Loved it I think we all should sometimes take a break from technology and just enjoy the simple things. What about you, how often do you put your phone down? Do you ever just relax and enjoy the simple things in life? Biunicorn |

I agree with you - it's good to get away. There's lots of studies and a few books about the concept of unplugging. I don't have much trouble with it - I work with technology all day - but when i'm home I try to be unreachable as much as I can. My wife stays connected all the time. I'm used to it now - but it's a challenge for her when we go somewhere like the beach or the mountains. Takes almost a day of withdrawal time for her to get comfy. Glad you had a getaway time! Cheers, LT

Cape Cod is a very special place. I spent some of my best vacations ever at Cape Cod. It is the most fun you can have with your pants on. There are so many fun things to do, and so many great places, to do nothing too. I would love to live there.

If I go to the beach or take a hike on a nature walk, I usually leave my phone in the car. That happens every once in a while, not as often as I'd like, but still.
