Just Me Talkin' I want to start this post by saying; we here in Blogville lost a wonderful and dear friend. As we wish Bambi a safe journey to the other side; we share our sorrow and grief with Chuck...She was a wonderful person my friend and she will be missed. When Someone You Love Becomes A Memory, The Memory Becomes A Treasure. -Author Unknown This morning; I had the pleasure of doing another radio show for the visually impaired, this is my 5th radio show, and by far the best one that I have done yet. Sharing my life experiences with other people has been both a honor and privilege. For those of you that don't know me that well; I am a Free and Accepted Mason, this weekend we are doing a 150 year consecration of our lodge. That alone is a special privilege and honor to know that for 150 years this lodge has been serving the needs of the community and helping men become better people. We are also doing a play written by a member of our lodge, to further honor the event; entitled "East Of The Alter" the play is centered around a lodge the is tested during the civil war and the tragedies it takes to reunite the brothers. I am honored to say that I will be part of the play, as well as, stand in for one the officers of the lodge on this special day. Historically and Personally it will be a great day for me. And knowing my grandson will be in attendance "will make it that much sweeter". I went out and looked a few more houses on Monday and Tuesday, the realtor is getting closer to what I want; but time is on side to sit on the fence and wait for what I want. I need to get a few more paychecks under my belt and build up some savings before I venture into a new car...I have to be honest when I tell you, that I hate spending 300 a week to rent a car...grrr The apartment is coming along very well, I came back to some really nice house warming gifts amongst other things...Slowly but surely, I'm getting back up on my feet and life is taking a very nice turn for the better. My personal life is good...all I'm looking for; are a few friends, I'm no where near ready for any kind of commitment, I've said before; there is someone special out there "who can make me believe" but the water is too muddy right now. I have a few things to get done before rehearsal tonight and with that I bid you a "Fare Thee Well" some times the things that comes from between my ears makes me pause for reflection |

it was very sad to hear about Bambi...Her and Chuck both are amazing people...i don't talk about it my affliation in Freemasonary often, but this is a very special weekend, not only for me personally, but for the lodge and my fellow brothers...The stuff you have of your grandfather is very special indeed...the regalia around his neck would indicate he was an officer of the lodge...very nice...it's a piece of history some times the things that comes from between my ears makes me pause for reflection
