Rock & Roll - Northern California Style

There are a lot of things that happens around the corner and around the world we cannot control. We cannot stop earthquakes, we cannot prevent droughts, and we cannot prevent conflicts.

This morning about 3:30 I was jolted out of a great dream by a 6.0 magnitude earthquake here in Northern California. For me, it was a bizarre and eerie 30 seconds, it’s one of those things that you know can happen, but are you really ever ready for it. Damage here in Vacaville was minimal, but there are stories of buckled roads, damaged businesses & homes and fires within 30 minutes of me. It’s still dark here so the first light should bring a little more reflection of what happened. Its times like these that should remind all of us of the things that are important, our friends, our family and to the many things in life, we’ve yet to experience. This was a photo that I took in American Canyon on my first trip to Napa. I think I’m going to spend the day outside to enjoy nature and reflect on my life. I hope all of you are doing well and enjoy life to the fullest.
Peace & Love

thank you... we were lucky here where I'm at, and even with the damage in Napa it could have been a whole lot worse

Glad to hear all is well with you. Earthquakes can be nerve-wracking to say the least. Enjoy the out-of-doors today. And it's always a good time to remember the important things in one's life.
