Hope/Fear

Hope and fear are two sides of the same coin. Together and yet separate. Close and yet far. You can't have one without the other; even when you wish it were true.

I'm afraid that you'll go and afraid that you'll stay.

I'm hopeful that you'll know me and hopeful that you'll still like me.

Hope and fear can hold you close and squeeze the life out of you. Only hindsight will show you the difference.
