As an Aussie who spent 6 great years in Vancouver, have to say the Canucks, it took me a while to get into hockey, but enjoy it now.

I went to a hockey game once. Didn't get it. Looked like "professional" wrestling on skates to me. Everyone cheered more for the fights that for the game related action.

Went to a fight and a hockey game broke out. What an experience. Seriously when I lived in Germany I used to go see the German-American hockey games all the time. Outdoor covered arena. Lots of fun all the way around.

well miss Addz... the south has never been a hockey area... we don't get snow like you guys do... most of the time it's just sleet and ice rain - which shut us down for 4 to 7 days... but, we did have the Atlanta Flames years ago - and they moved to Calgary where they are much more appreciated... so... that is that when it comes to hockey - but I do love American Football... LL... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have always played field hockey & that's because we don't have any ice over here - except for in drinks, but from what I have seen of ice hockey - it is awesome. I know I could play - I just need to learn to skate!
