Falling

Through the years, never took much for me to fall for someone. Just simple things, like to be wanted, enjoying my company or just spending time talking.
That rush you feel when someone would be excited to see you and actually run into your arms, smothering you in hugs n kisses. Truly, deeply wanting you, eyes flashing with joy, a huge smile gleaming, sparks flying. Telling how much you were missed, the longing that was felt, no matter if it was just hours, days or weeks.
How proud they were to be with you, showing you off to friends and telling them how proud they were of you. The beaming pride you felt and being humble at the same time.

Have felt those feelings many times, miss them sometimes.

The sadness felt when all that melted away, when the there was no sparks left, not even knowing the reasons why the magic disappeared.
