>>> Do you RAK?

Generally I am an optimist when it comes to human nature. I personally get a lot of pleasure from Random Acts of Kindness (RAK). How about you? Do you RAK? Hold a door open for someone, have a smile and a pleasant greeting for a stranger? And do not forget RAK for an acquaintance . Please share your idea about RAK and an example of what you may have done or seen? Have you been the recipient of a RAK? Yesterday I was so pleased to see a at the coffee shop walk an elderly lady to her car in the cold rain, using his umbrella. I was going to pay for his coffee order when he came back in the shop, but some one had beaten me to it

I always feel so good when I RAK. Sometimes just a kind word for an older person

My favorite RAK is treating cashiers and workers at fast food places with common courtesy that others seem all to willing to overlook. The customer is never right when they act like a boarish fool, after all. And one polite customer can make up for the ass that went before.

I'm always up to doing a random act of kindness. Giving to others makes the world are far more civilised and pleasant place to live in.

Very good points. Just that one or two nice words can turn a bad day around

I do as well.. I always say Have a Good Day and smile when Im out shopping.. it feels great when they aknowledge and return the smile... I used to ride my pedal bike to work took about 45 minutes.. some of it was the rough unfortunate part of town.. with the homeless.. but i was never afraid as i passed them by making there way to the center for coffee and breakfast.. but what i loved the most was the gratitude from them when i said Good Morning and Have A Great Day..
To be acknowledged as a human being is a great joy..I would cry every morning seeing what i saw but also cry knowing what i said to another person made them feel special even for just that brief moment..

Yes im Happy to say I RAK..

lol Smiles and Have A Great Day Everybody..Luv Ya All

Peace

From Moi.. ohh thats french for me..lol

You have the right frame of mind, politeness should be part of our every day life. I am particularly sensitive to the military. I can remember the packages, sweet cards from kids always made my day.

That is so important. Politeness toward those that for what ever reason are in difficult time, shows a good heart.

Buying water bottles with Disney characters on the lid for a co-workers daughters = RAK

Holding a door open = common courtesy.

I do both and consider them to be different things.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!
