Very clever to have the end of the sausage protruding. Only thing missing is the safe sex bit. I assume you moulded the balls by hand and from your "Odd then..." posting you would know how. I am sure if your Tween Queen was comfortable with seeing things like this you would wonder where you had gone wrong. I am sure they tasted great. “For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.” ― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Much like this site Visit my Blog for my adventures.

I am blushing and laughing... being given the ability to do that is easily worth a badge, so thank you! Although... I must note that, due to the positioning of the pastry wrap, your presented baked treat is styled to represent a decidedly non-Jewish nature. Nothing wrong with that, of course -- the majority of my friends and associates are of a decidedly non-Jewish nature -- but in the interest of hot dog diversity (and accuracy) I thought I'd point it out. Furthermore, the association of me with "miniature" baking is a bit unfair... I mean, we've never met! Miniature? Oh, my wounded delicate ego! From a food styling point of view, your platters are wonderfully presented... and the veggie balls sound delicious, even if the photo of the one that had been sliced neatly in two had me wincing... And... what a shame the hedgehog-shaped goodies didn't come out. I would have loved to have played off kzoopair's comment with the line "Badgers? We don't need no stinkin' badgers!" But it was not to be, alas... Regarding the Tween Queen: I've heard that conservatism (small c) and liberalism tends to alternative in generations (this isn't universal, but supposedly is frequent enough that it's a noted phenomenon). Perhaps true in your case? And indeed, it is a pity we are not close enough to festoon each other with baked goodies -- food being one of my passions -- or anything else. But I'll take this virtual offering in the spirit with which it is intended, and gratefully...
