Is there a readership for failure stories ?

Almost all the stories I have come across here are success stories. But my experience tells me that successes are few and far between, where as failures are galore. So I was wondering whether there could be a readership for failure stories. What do you say?

 Everybody likes a happy end to a story,
Stories of failure have their place hear as they can help and guide others, but mostly they come across as whinning, and ranting, tinged with bitterness.

There was a depressing song about a bloke that was ditched by his girlfriend on christmas eve, but it ended with the line that on christmas day he got his leg over her best friend, a happy ending,
