I can't see the woman in the second photo drowning - not with her buoyancy aids

I turn on the music and just get lost in the sound. If she is with me, we just dance and get silly. It always buoys and chases the dark away.

for many, the darkness never fades, and the dark hole, the black dog if you will, gets its patience rewarded. Frantic paddling is fine until the fatigue takes over.

I go for long walks...listening and watching. I breath deeply. I practice mindfulness...to be in the moment! If that don't work, then I get some Cherrie Garcia and watch Scoobie Doo!

I always look for the light in the darkness even the tiniest sliver of it and I hold onto that to tow me through whatever I may be feeling or going through.

Please, just call me diggy.

Step back and reflect coupled with exercise usually helps.

gorgeous pics. I manage to take things as they are and have stopped caring about things that I cannot do anything about. It keeps me at peace.

Its difficult at times to manage life when things don't as planned or as liked. All to easy to fall into depressed state, harder to fix that which is broken.
Try to keep my mind active, shut out the negative voices in my head.

I first of all think about it and ask myself if I am worse off than an other people I know or don't know. When I really look at things I find things aren't as bad as I thought. That many others have it much worse than I do. I will also listen to music, go for a drive anything to take my mind off things. I still come the the realization that I'll be ok that things aren't as bad as they seem.
