What makes it Merry?

Merry Christmas Blogtopia!
I was very fortunate to spend my Christmas morning surrounded by loved ones, albeit recovering from a nasty Flu yuck! But I got to thinking what about the loved ones we don't get to see on such a special occasion? I think of my folks on the other side of the country... Friends and family that are just to far away to get to see...
And I realized that I'm sending just as much love out to them, and getting it in return, even if we can't get together over the Christmas Holiday. I keep them all in my thoughts and heart and can't wait till the chance does come up to see everyone in person.
