I really do not understand why so many women get a gold membership but will never respond to a message..

 To be honest with you I have never paid for my GOLD membership!! They tell me my profile is popular and they renew it all the time for free. There are some messages I get I don't respond too reasons such as someone no where even near me to even "meet", someone who had bugged the shit out of me on another site, someone who is younger then my kids, I know those are a few reasons why I don't respond to message. Can't speak for everyone tho.
