Heels absolutely enhance a woman's feet and legs. The shape they add to the calf, instep and thigh are obvious when compared to ladies wearing flat footwear. My wife finds them uncomfortable and difficult to walk in, so I have to appreciate them on other women.

Hiya Calypso ... I like both. Which type I wear depends entirely on how long I'm expected to be on my feet. (Platform if it's longer than 2 hours) I'm also big on aesthetics .. A woman can NEVER have too many shoes ... It's like our bras and panties ... simply a functional piece. I must agree heels are sexy. Where I live we have months of winter and to see high heel winter boots that are sexy is very nice. I must add a lady with class always makes the apparel sexy. Hope you are having a great weekend. Rusty

I love it when a woman dresses feminine for me or in general as far as that goes. And something about high heels that screams femininity. Add either a nice dress with stockings or a tight pair of jeans. I'm a drooling maniac then.

You’re right about shoes saying a lot about the person but our own interpretations (those assumptions we make, never discuss with anyone else and hold true to) may lead us astray. I see 5” stilettos during daytime hours or at the beach and I immediately think high maintenance. A closet full would likely confirm that.  If they have a sharp pointed toe, it adds trendy to high maintenance. And then, there’s the rest of the interpretational adjectives people attach to objects.It’s not that I’m opposed to heels or can control an interpretation(s) I don’t rely on. My opposition is more on practicality around the amount of pain and effort women will go through in an effort to ‘look good’ - when most look their best in t-shirts, ball caps and sweats. Also, many women walk strange while wearing tall heels. Your comment on feeling taller and having a sense of power is interesting. Most men are not really thinking about the confidence a lady’s heels provided her. Maybe this would be a better approach than considering stilettos as a “f*ck-me shoe” and indication of her intentions. But since shoes don’t make the entire woman, the rest of the outfit and even her personality needs to be explored. As for shopping, isn’t that a god given right by birth as a female and DNA sequencing? We all have our hobbies and interest and for many women its shoe’s. I’d just rather see a closet filled with diversity more than a single style.

nowadays alot of the platforms are hidden (not obvious like in the 70's) it gives the look of a really high heel but walking on less on a 5 1/2 inch heel there may be a hidden 1 inch platform so you are only walking on 4 1/2 those are great for going out the non platform sexy but for play only    je ne regrette rien

I love high heels (but not platforms) on women. they make legs look so sexy and improve the posture. I like wearing high heels too. Love the way they extend your legs and once you have mastered them they are so elegant
