Jersey Shore To The Outer Banks, NC

My goal in 2017/2018.

So far throughout my life I've lived in North & South New Jersey, Baltimore and Western Maryland, (Frederick County) NYC (Manhattan) and VA (Fairfax County) just outside of DC.

For the past 6 years I've been living right off the beach in Atlantic City.

As the years go by and we become older. I'm finding myself not so in love with the colder weather that winter brings.

Over the years (mostly in the 80's & 90's) I've become so in love with the OBX area of the Carolina Coast. Knowing pretty well Southern Shores to the Hatteras area.

Taking a few pics this morning right outside my home in Jersey I'm sure I'll miss it here. Having the boardwalk with tons to do and see, along with every restaurant you could ever want.

Yes, the outer banks still has the change of seasons but that 10 to 15 degrees warmer makes all the difference.

So with this said and roughly for the next year. I would love to get to know folks already living around the OBX area...

I've never been in that area. . It does sound nice, as NJ was so cold and FL is so hot.
I WAS thinking about the central Atlantic coast states but now I'm just staying here.
Good luck in your search!

I remember chatting with you last year. Talking about the cold weather. I admired you for being in Fl.
I do like the change in seasons. Thinking the NC coast would work well. No hurry just feeling it out.
