Men or women - Who's more pathological? My father raised me to have a path in life so I chose a psychopath  Since the summers almost over, thought I'd update my ghosting posting since one lovely lady took the time to comment on it. ( She always gets more generous when she reaches VIP status  ) The cam ghost did make nice with me but it felt more like she did it out of boredom than actually giving a durn. Whatta ya gonna do? Her choice, her journey, her ass. Can't control the actions of others  The reconnection of the long term relationship ghost made for a hot and fun July/August but ran it's course by Labor day weekend  Same ole shit, you truly can't go home again.  But getting back to formentioned title of this rambling, from what she was telling me in the beginning of the reconnect, sounded like we had done and seen similar things in the decade we were apart. And were in the same place now in the present. You can accuse me of hearing what I wished to hear, believing what I wanted to believe. But if you knew me, you'd know I'm about second chances and fresh starts. People do change so why not give them the benefit of doubt if they seem sincere. I think she did believe her own BS, right up to the BS she was spouting as it was ending.  Soooo, the reason for my question is I've noticed a sick rationalization trend amongst others the last 2 or 3 years, not only in significant others but friends family, colleagues,acquaintances and repairman. I'd blame the Trump effect but this has been going on before his ridiculousness gained traction. When I think back to all the shit I've swallowed over the years, I'd say men were more guilty of this until recently. Now it seems women are more capable of this in my dealings. Especially the overmedicated ones which is on me for getting involved with them. Sometimes you have to get in the pool if you wanna get wet.Sometimes you don't know until you're already in the pool.  I fucking love South Florida and the Internet As always this post is open to comments by men,women, transgender,hermaphrodite, inbreds and farm animals. ..not that anyone does    Standards are people too.....kinda  |
