The life of a solo male on dating sites

It is actually a pretty lonely existence. Plenty of casual chats, followed by endless email exchanges, attempts to set up a "meet", and then radio silence.

I get that people are all looking for different things, but I can never understand why they seem interested in leading people on if they have no intention of following through.

I can understand how this might sound like sour grapes, but it would go a long way if people were just up front about their intentions and interests.

 I think a lot of people want things to happen "just like that", ie: too fast and when someone actually wants to take the time to get to know someone first [shock!!], lots do not want to put the effort in to it. First meets should be about meeting and nothing else, takes the pressure off and lets both get a feel for each other ...... without feeling each other lol. Best of luck!
