The Finest Champagne

he's got money
he is wealthy
really wealthy
so much money
he doesn't know
what to do with it
he is sitting
at an expensive restaurant
alone
his eyes wander the room
he displays folded $100 bills
from his hand
a waiter rushes over to him
yes sir
how may I help you
do you see
that woman over there
yes sir
send her
your finest bottle of champagne
yes sir!
she smiles
her eyes search the room
for her benefactor
he is over there ma'am
she smiles at him
he motions
can I join you at your table
she bows her head
in acknowledgment
they sit together
enjoying the finest champagne
and a gourmet meal
he invites her to his estate
on the upper eastside
she smiles
yes I would love to
she is pampered
given everything she desires
she spends the night
in the morning
he is off to a business meeting
he invites her to stay
she smiles
