my friend's experience

I have a friend, that is dear to me as if she were a sister. I told her about this site about a week ago. I figured I was having fun here and her love life hasn't been the greatest in the last year. I did not know her experience would be a million times more negative than mine. I get that guys can be aggressive and the internet can amplify that. But seriously? She showed me over 40 dick picks that she got in just a day. She told me that even if she was interested in reading someone's e-mail she was usually just to frustrated to even bother. She told me today that she wished I had never told her about this site. Now me being me, I feel like it is my fault. And I guess it is. But for what it is worth, anyone that I have sent a blind mail to, I am sorry. I am also sorry for all the random dick pics in your mail, although I have not sent any of those. I do have a few in my profile but I will not apologize as I am not forcing it at anyone. I really just don't understand the aggressiveness she was met with, like somehow if they yelled loud enough she would finally come to her senses. I just don't know. I feel ashamed of my gender.

 It's not just the cock shots.
It's the aggressiveness and being rude and acting entitled which is a huge turn off.
Not everyone on here is like that but the vas majority of men on here are unfortunately. Some men are downright dogs because a woman is not their ideal woman either she is too big- not necessarily fat but not thin either or not the right color or some other perceived flaw.
Internet dating/hook-ups is not for the faint hearted so this may not be the thing for her.

Personally it's better to get out the house and do stuff and meet people while out and about.
