Flirting in real life - need an answer

When you make eye contact with someone who you find attractive, and they seem to track your every move, how do you know if they also find you attractive or if they are simply observing you observing them? So in short, how can you tell if they are narcissistic or are interested?

I think that would be tough to discern--whether someone is a narcissist--from non verbal clues. I think the biggest concern about such people is that you don't know their true nature until AFTER you're involved. And why is that so common? It's because they're social chameleons.

Now, if you're simply trying to determine if he's into you as opposed to being needy, then I think you should wait and let him make the next move; women shouldn't do more than make eye contact to express interest. If there's any genuine interest (and he's not psycho), he'll let you know if he's interested.

There's another possibility. A may might see you, and glimpse in you all the possibilities for happiness, real love, honest connection, the opem sharing of moments and days, everything he once thought was possible and still wishes to have, to be provided with -- things that every sane persons desire, but which require attention, care, honesty and an awareness that few are capable, or willing, to give. He looks at you, your every movement and expression, hoping to see his own feelings reflected by you, hoping that you will save him. He is desires you to fulfill his fantasy. He is therefore both interested, and entirely narcissistic.

Of maybe he just likes looking at your eyes.
