I think it's a good way to make friends with people that you normally wouldn't be able to. you can learn things about others that are blogging, likes, dislikes, etc. Finding out interesting things that people talk about, and even learn something along the way, a really good way to communicate with others on this site.

I like to "hear" what other people think. I also like interaction and, as you, I don't understand why comments often go without a response. Another thing I like about blogs is exchange of opinions. There are as many blog subjects as there are people who write blogs. Some are interesting and thought provoking, others simply hilarious, yet others all about sex. Some blogs are so inane, it's embarrassing to even read them. There are also blogs that are insulting and despicable. I suppose, the beauty of blogland is in it's ever changing aura, in it's variety. I agree, it's so much better when the blogger replies to comments. And many times I've been replying to somebody's post and took what I wrote and headed to my blog to expand on it. I'm going with "The Comeraderie" .... we're all in this war together lol. Or something like that.

I enjoy reading blogs I find relatable. I think a lot of people can relate to me in some respects. There are some blogs I click on mostly for dirty stories, but I don't stay on those for long. There are bloggers that were on here that I miss. I wonder what happened to them. Come into my realm! You aren't afraid...are you?

I seem to be a contrarian here. I enjoy the intellectual stimulation that the blogs offer. You beat me to the punch with the attack in France, to be certain, but interesting stories come to the forefront as a result. Interestingly enough, they make me think. Oh, and I adore your cartoons.

I love the friendship of the people I have "met" here...even though we may never actually lay eyes on one another...it's great fun to know I have friends all over the globe. Not so many years ago...this would have never been possible...and that is amazing. I love the fact that I if I have things I want to get off my chest...there is at least a few people who will listen and advise...and most importantly...laugh. Great post...very insightful!
