The IM Program, or lack thereof...

So does anyone ever get the Instant Messenger program to work right? Seems like most of the time I try to use it for anything other than viewing webcams, I get nothing but [waiting] or the few times it does seem to actually get a message to another person, it sends nothing but pages back instead of actually replying in the chat box. I've been trying to use it for a long time, but I swear it's only worked properly once or twice the couple of years I've used the thing. Do most people use the browser based one instead, or does the standalone program just have that many glitches? I've never even gotten a reply via the browser based one, so I can't even say at all how that one works. If anyone out there has had better experiences with the things, feel free to let me know. LOL

Bots gone crazy...

Wow, I knew things were getting bad, logging on anymore I've been getting up to a dozen flirts a day, all from people with inactive or disabled profiles, sometimes within just a couple minutes of each other, but tonight when logging on, I had almost 50 alerts, and over 40 of them were basically these spam-bot flirts of non-existent people. 40 of them in a 24 hour period, and now a total of 108 "flirts" in the last 30 days, every one of them a disabled or inactive profile. Kinda crazy now if you ask me.
At least the profile views still seem real enough, haha. If you want to talk, feel free to leave a message here. I don't bite unless asked.

To paraphrase a great bit of wisdom I heard while catching up on missed episodes of House:
Monogamy is like eating rocky road the rest of your life. Sure it's flavorful, with lots of little bits and pieces, but after so long, you're still gonna want to chase down that ice cream truck!
