Where to begin? Things such as this always make me feel as though I've been pushed onto a stage, given a microphone, and told to say something "memorable." Glassy-eyed, I think for a moment before responding with, "Well, the speed of light is over 186,000 miles per second." The audience moans; memorable, perhaps, but far from sexy. Unless you're like really, really into Einstein. Maybe a slightly more narcissistic approach is called for. All-righty then. Having previously lived in larger cities in various geographical locations (Charlotte, Honolulu, Orlando, Louisville), I now find myself in a town of 50 thousand or so, give or take. I love my career and the new job, and life is fairly good here in the south of Georgia, but . . . well, it's also a little boring. I've met a few friends from work, but I'm experienced enough to know better than to date co-workers. I've done the match thing before, which was fun for what it was, but now I'm not really interested in being someone's "other half" or "true love." Talk about pressure! Plus, can any one person (or thing) ever truly make someone "complete"? Completely what exactly? That being said, I do think friendship, fun, respect, love, admiration, great sex, and adventure are all crucial components of happiness--or at least to my happiness. To that end, I am here hoping to find and meet like-minded women to befriend. Is sex necessary? No. Nothing in life is necessary save for food, water, and oxygen. And maybe beer. But if you find me likeable and attractive, and I find you likeable and attractive, well then, I am confident neither of us will be disappointed. But again, no pressure. I totally understand if you prefer to get to know someone before proceeding further (i.e., getting physical). After all, I firmly believe that great sex is more mental than physical. I think that an intelligent, confident woman who isn't afraid to tell me exactly what she wants is sexy as hell.
