What could have been

I watched her tonight,
a Nubian Queen.
She did not know I was there.
She did not know that I want to scream,
scream out Hello I am here.

Her skin rich & brown.
Her eyes strong & loving.
Her lips soft & full.

Oh how I wanted to place my lips onto hers.
To feel my skin against her skin.
To hear the song of her words and moans.

I know that if I were only to say
Hello I am here,
Her face would light up and glow.
She would open her arms,
body and soul to me.

Oh she is so beautiful.
So beautiful.
A strong passionate woman.

A woman full of love and passion.
A woman full of sexual desire.
A woman that is complete.

I sit here in silence.
Oh why do I not cry out.
Why do I not sing her name.

And the moment is gone.
She is gone.

All that is left is for her to read my words as I sit here in silence unable to see her face light up and glow with a smile, and then emptiness realizing I was there and what could have been but was not.

Let me tell you this man is true to the words he expresses so well in his poetry. He's very passionate in deeds and word and I'm so happy to have met him and I hope he and I last a very long time.
