The dating age factor for Men and Women.

One of the groups I am member of is Younger Women/Older Men. In browsing profiles, the age group that I seek is 48 to 60. I know that I suffer from delusion of grander, and that is why I don’t seek out 25 year old women.

From experiences, I just don’t think believe ladies in that age group are interested in meeting. Before I email anyone I read the entire profile. Really, I do. I don’t want to waste my time or theirs. (Or is it there’s, I never figured that one out.) The few responses, if any, I get back are all saying that I am too old.

Now just for discussions, there age preference is know different than mine; looking for someone ten years younger. Why it is okay for a woman to look for a younger man, but if I look for a younger woman, there tone of response has such disdain. It is not a question of rejection, I obvious respect age preference, as I am of the same mind set. Where are you younger woman that want an older man?

You can't please everyone all the time....and some never.

There are double standards on both sides

Women date older men, and they're considered gold diggers. They date younger men and they're cougars.

Men date younger women and they're dirty old men or sugar daddies. They date older women and people think they could do better.

It's a strange, strange world out there.

By the way...love your humour!

I am who I am....your approval isn't needed.

As long as someone doesn't look their age or older - there are younger men than you that look like they are ready for pipe and slippers, have a brain and a sense of humour, there's something to build on.

Sean Connery is a great example of a horny older man - Hugh Hefner is NOT !!!

I think that's all a matter of opinion. While I tend to agree with you, Holly, I believe that is his "main squeeze's name" seems to think differently. From the few times I've seen that show, and believe me it's not been often or for long, I think Holly really has feelings for Hef, unlike that one twit he let's live there. She kisses him with all of the passion I would use on kissing my great grandfather.

As for you Want To, the only advice I can give you is to keep plugging along. Leave the age limits more open. You just never know what will come your way. I dated a man that was 36 when I was 18 and I feel in love with a 25 year old when I was 34. It's the person, what you have in common, and what you want from life that matters. I wish you luck in finding what you seek!
