 That happened to me once about a year ago - OMG this guy had greasy hair with a ball cap on; green burlap shorts that were dirty and a wrinkled yellow polo shirt on. Flip flops on his feet and when he smiled I could tell he hadn't brushed his teeth that day (or for a few days for that matter). When he hugged me I could smell B O - it was horrible. Of course I get all "dolled up" for any date, not just a first date and I was shocked when I saw him. His picture(s) were SO different after corresponding online for a while.

After chatting for a few minutes, I told him I realized that I had left my cell phone in my car by accident and that I liked to have it in case of emergencies with family - (elderly parents etc). I told him I was going to go get it and I would be right back....Um, NO!! I took off so fast in my car, and thankfully I lived close by. I ran inside and blocked him from any further contact with me here at LesbianPersonals, on YIM, and on my cell phone. I think by not saying a word to him and blocking all contact is the silent message he needed to hear - hopefully he has "cleaned up" his act by now.

 There are just too many people that don't take any pride whatsoever in their appearance. Too many people watch it on television and movies; the grunge look I would call it. Sniff out your cleanest dirty shirt and spray on a body fragrance; then you are ready to go.
No thanks to any of that. Be clean inside and out or hit the road. I see people heading into the stores looking and smelling terrible. They can't be pleasant to be close to; why would I even think of having sex with someone like that.
