Need Your Help On "Member Deleted Post"
I have the attention of two developers who are focusing on fixing this issue.

It's a tricky little bastard of a problem. We can see it happening but it's hard to figure out exactly what the trigger is. I know there is something in our common experience that will lead to the answer.

I was hoping that the next time it happens to you, you could come here and leave the exact steps you were taking when it happened. For instance, the last time it happened to me this is what I was doing.

1) I put up the Swimsuit Contest in late May and hid it until we launch it this Monday.

2) To launch the post I edited the text with final contest dates and clicked the "Update" button.

3) It when directly to the Member Deleted Post page, and informed me that "This post is only viewable by this member's friends. Become a friend of ."

4) I tried Editing and changing text in the post about 5 more times, but it didn't fix the issue.

5) It stayed in this Member Deleted Post state for about 4 hours, then it just showed up later the same day.

Thanks for the help. If it happens please let me know everything you remember. This will really help...

 Ok Ryan, I have a post that I just put up an hour ago and it's showing as member deleted. [post 1989350]

I never even edited it! It is showing up just fine on my main page, but enter the post and it's showing "member deleted".

I head over to site support to report it, lo and behold, their June bug post is showing member deleted!!! There are a lot more problems going on today though than just this.

Typically, a post doesn't go falsely go into "member deleted" status without editing it, once or more.

Whenever, almost, a post goes into the black hole of "member deleted", you the blog owner can do nothing. Absolutely nothing you do will get it back except wait. It is possible that the techs can do something, but usually a post returns on its own before they get around to it. Yes, several hours up to a day is about right, though several hours is more typical.

I have two posts that never came back. Posted on different days, but one is a copy of the other. I had other posts I put up in between. Not only that, I received a comment on each one! Go figure on that one!!! I still have them on my blog, but you can't see them unless you enter through mine.

I can back up Nassy as to her post,
It shows member deleted and friends
only can post~ I'm on her friends
list,but there is no reply box to
use.The post link was on my friend's
activities on my network page.

today the site has been full of
glitches and bugs...

 I have had it continuously but there is no rhyme or reason. It has happened upon the first posting. It has happened with the editing.

However, it is also happening in conjunction with the loss of colors on the blog.

In addition, I am losing images that I attached in the body of the post.

Just linked to Nassy's post through my network page,her post is showing with a member deleted header and only friends can comment with no comment box,although comments made are showing.

Seems each method to link to it has a different result.

Usually it happens at the beginning, but there have been times I have gone back on an older post and done and edit and it goes into delete status.

For the comments, sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Sorry, no clear cut answers.

That's not a bad idea. I do that myself when I am testing a few things out and trying to track a few things down too.

If I might suggest...make the new profile Blog private and only members in your network of friends of that handle can view it. Then add the Community profile as a friend or another profile of yours to the network of friends to testing it that way as well. You may be surprised in how that can narrow down searching out bugs as well

I want to know more about the white out going on.

I have my back ground colors set as Black in my posts, and when you look inside the post that are white. And this is going on everywhere, not just mine.

The "Member Deleted Post" thing has been going on forever. I can say that sense I've been blogging I have had at least 2 a month do that and there has never been an answer other then it's a technical glitch that has happened..... like trying to operate a program too fast and it locks up.

So what about this white out going on?

 i have this happen alot! it really upsets me! also i've noticed that i'm also popping into others profiles and blogs as them! wtf! thats scary! another blogger e-mailed me that she was on mine yesterday! scary! why is that happening??? better fix that before the wrong person gets on our profiles and screws with us!
