When did pubic hair get to be a bad thing?

I'm disturbed by this trend toward the shaving of the pubic area by women. When did pubic hair get to be a bad thing? Maybe it's because I am a little older but every sexual first in my life - those which I remember fondly during some of my fantasies - revolve around pubic hair. When I was about 12 or 13 years old, a friend of mine and I stumbled across a nudist magazine in a local news stand. The first time I saw that thick, dark, triangular patch of hair at the apex of that woman's legs my heart almost stopped. That image was burned in my memory forever. The first time I ever got up enough nerve to slide my hand down the front of a girl's pants I'll never forget the excitement I felt when my fingers touched the first wisps of hair. I was THERE! I had touched IT! And, of course, I will never forget the first time I performed oral sex. The woman was older than I and had a full bush. I remember having my face buried between her legs with my nose nuzzling in her hair. Then I glanced up and could see over the mound of hair that her face contorted with pleasure. Licking that mound of hair was ecstasy for me as well as it was for her.
For me, the pubic hair is a sign of a woman's "woman-ness". Am I the only one who feels this way?

 Bill i agree with u a 100% i dont think there is enought hairy mounds and they do turn me on harder then a bald one , and Like u see my first hairy mound on a magazine did the same think to me , , I feel sorry for the young men that will never be find a nice hairy to have oral sex with I would like to know if there is a hairy bush to HAIRY ?
