The Secret Lives Of Beds I was just musing over some thoughts on an amusing idea. It's a rough draft really with no revision but maybe you'll like it. The Secret Lives of Beds Darling you know how I hate to worry you. But, I’m afraid I have discovered some terrible and distressing news. Brace yourself, and I know this will come as somewhat of a shock but… Our bed has become a pervert! I know, I know I didn’t want to believe it either but the clues are everywhere. How it perfectly preserves your impression after you leave. Or, the way it holds onto the sweetness of your scent until just that moment when I wake to breath it in. Surely you have noticed the way it draws us together in the middle each and every night. It’s little wonder that making love to you has become impossible to resist. And the thoughts of being inside you, feeling you clutching me close, your moans in my ear haunt my every waking moment. I spend each night holding you close in our bed and each day looking forward to doing it again! Oh, how blind I have been to not see this sooner. Who can say what it’s up to when we aren’t there? What does it do while we are away? I’ll tell you. It plots all day to seduce us into its soft embrace when we get home only bask in the glow of our sensual and erotic moments. How could this happen? I know, it seems like only yesterday when we brought it home so white and pristine so… innocent. Now, I fully admit my part in this. Granted in our beds youth my voracious appetite for you played a role. Your soft seductive curves, the way your dark silky hair hung down over me as you straddled my body, the soft bounce of your full beautiful breasts shimmering with sweat…. I’m sorry… where was… ohh yes! The corruption of our bed! As I said, I had some small part to play. But my love, I am afraid the greater blame clearly lies with you. Oh no? Well I hadn’t wanted to bring this up but… the silk sheets! There I’ve said it; I’m sorry but sometimes the truth does hurt. And not just silk, but Italian Silk at that… well known seductresses of the linen kingdom. We might as well have gotten our bed a subscription to “Penthouse Letters” and a Barry White CD. Yes, yes your right.. I’m over-reacting. But you cant deny the influence those sheets have had on our beds behavior. Making love every night, and waking up each morning with the intense desire to feel myself inside you again. Longing to feel your nails on my skin as you clutch my back with each powerful thrust. Or, devising excuses to conveniently run home during lunch because feeling you orgasm against me just cant wait until later. The signs are all around us. But darling, there’s more. The lights are in on it! Lately, they cast you in a certain glow. They highlight the sheen and shimmer of that gorgeous dark hair of yours. As we undress, they silhouette each scrumptious curve of that amazing body, making sure each sultry shadow accentuates your breath-taking femininity. It makes it unavoidable but to notice how your body makes the perfect compliment to mine and how you fit so snuggly in my arms or the way your legs wrap so perfectly around my waist. Really, this should come as no surprise, I think we have long suspected the lights for being voyeurs. And how they “pretend” to be “off”. Laughable. But clearly, it’s the bed who is the true mastermind in the conspiracy, the clear “Alpha” piece of bedroom furniture. Why for God’s sake, the room is even named for it after-all! Yes, the lights, the dresser, the mirror (Don’t even get me started on the mirror), they are all merely pawns to the true kingpin of this seduction syndicate. Who knows how far the beds influence has reached? The living room… the stairs… our car… even as far away as the desk in my office? I have a confession…. the thoughts of taking you right there, ripping open your blouse and simply raising your skirt high enough to get inside your wet and waiting lips…. I’ve imagined it on all of those… and more. But, this is OUR bed and clearly it is left to us to solve it. Maybe it’s just a phase… maybe the bed will grow out of it.. I’ve been doing some research. The best course, from what I understand, is to over-indulge the bed. Show it we are not intimidated by its little game. We will make love as often as possible, in every way possible until over come with exhaustion. And doing so, we will reclaim our room and re-assert our authority. It will probably be best to saturate the whole house… to make love to you on the couch… to pleasure you on carpet… pin you up against the walls so that your legs wrap around me while I cradle you in my arms and push deep inside your body… I’m afraid it’s the only way! This process may take a while… years in fact. But, our love, our dedication and perseverance will pay off. In fact, I think we should start as soon as possible. We can begin with that uppity washing machine and make an example for the rest of them! |

I knew my damned kitchen table was in cahoots with someone. I had suspected the porch swing, but now, thanks to you, i realize that the table was merely taking orders from the bed. Now i'm a bit concerned about the entire bathroom. The shower, the vanity, the towel holders etc. I think there may be an insurrection afoot. I can't take sides though. I'm just a pawn in the great furniture war.
