⎝ðŸ”ī⎞ ⎝ðŸ”ī⎞ Pasta?

With the coming of our taste of winter, I have developed my desire for spaghettis or lasagna. I lean towards lasagna though, it just seems that this pasta spreads warmth and fun. I especially enjoy making them. I do confess that I will on occasion slip in items that are not on the ingredients list . Pepperoni is always in the "slip list" . Do you enjoy a comfort pasts meal? If so what is it?

I make an "unconventional" pasta called chop suey that is a real hit in my house.

It's, basically, spaghetti tossed with veggies and any leftover protein in the fridge sauteed in sesame and olive oil till lightly browned. I make a sauce with soy sauce, honey, freshly grated ginger and garlic, with a dash of Worcestershire, and a slurry of corn starch and water, and toss it all together. It's real tasty and clears out leftovers quickly.

Happy Monday

This week's HNW: Pink/Hearts (Or Chocolate) is available on the other side.

Good morning Pal, Happy Monday to you, I would have to go with Spaghetti and Meat Balls I do make some of the best ones. But I do enjoy different kinds of pasta, although not a fan of lasagna. I hope you enjoy a great start to your week..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Isn't interesting that so many comfort foods involve pasta?

My favorite comfort food is mac and cheese...and not just any old mac and cheese...my homemade stuff.
