Wanting to get know someone is very reasonable, especially if you are looking for a fwb. Too many forget about the "friends" part. Welcome to the blogs. “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” ― Oscar Wilde

The smart way of seeking these fwb's , is to "FIRST" recognize that you want to have sex with that person. All too often women say they are looking for fwb's .... and a man offers himself to provide this for her......and she eventually says, "If we have sex that will ruin the friendship". She does this , because she is already has the benefit of attention and all the fun stuff friends do without having sex. .....So just what's her incentive to now have sex with him? ....No incentive. So reasonably, for the men who are aware of this kind of occurrence [ I want a fwb, lets be friends first , situation] , he doesn't want to wait around for you to become very familiar with him, and rightly so. You meet him, the first question you should be asking yourself is, "Do I see myself having sex with this guy". If the answer is , "No" or "Not so much"....then don't waste his time trying to be friends. If the answer is , "Yes".... then go ahead and try the sex out, right now.

Hello, I am new to the site and this whole online thing and I am in the same position as you. I am looking for a long term FWB, but not just that, someone how can hold a conversation. I see where you are located, I actually work in E-ville.

The trick as I have found, is connecting with someone on a personal level enough to say that the sex will be fun. I liken it more to finding a workout partner who you could go to the gym with, enjoy each other's company while getting sweaty. Just in this case the "getting sweaty" also includes some exchange of bodily fluids. The search is arduous, especially for those of us that are not looking to change what we have going on at home, because we're looking for a good "workout" not a change in status.
