Frustrated with this site

Am I the only one frustrated with this site? I understand that they are here to make money but I doesn't seam fair that then someone that's paid sends you a message you can't answer it. Or at lest be able to chat in messenger like we use to be able to do. Sure I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said. Just venting got a message from a nice lady just wanted to ne able to chat back. Contacts near me are far and few between when I was a gold member no action and now it's frustrating knowing there might be a new friend out there. Ok just venting
